Early April 2008, Aeroflot Cargo launched scheduled domestic operations on a new route Moscow-Yakutsk-Khabarovsk.

As of now, the route is operated by a DC-10-40F with a weekly frequency. It has demonstrated a good load factor with a tendency for growth and Aeroflot Cargo is now considering adding frequency to Yakutsk. 

Key freight item to this destination is mass consumer goods like food, medicines, clothing, footwear which are increasingly in demand as domestic market is evolving. Boosting domestic operations, Aeroflot Cargo contributes to social and economic programs aimed at development of outback regions in the Far North, Siberia and the Far East.
